So, here is a new fanart of Naoki Urasawa's Monster! Again! And there's a Johann with Tenma. Even if that's true that Tenma's much more important on the drawing that the famous blond-haired Monster anyway...
Then. How to say about this fanart? First, I took an absolute *great* moment to do it. It was very enjoyable -even if I'd a lot of problem to clear up my mind about the way to color it. I first wanted to make it in full black and white valors but finally changed my mind to color it with...some watercolor. Even if I'm not good at it. I was very scared when I started to paint Tenma's shirt ahah. But I don't think that I'm regreatfull to use the watercolor because I don't think that I would be able to do better with another medium. So I'm ratherly happy with the result I obtained with that drawing...^^ Looking like I wanted it to look like, at least...
So, some explanations now! Of course the words at Tenma's back are of course the sinster message left by Johann Liebert at the beggining of the doctor's journey, telling him that "the Monster inside him had grown so big".
Tenma's wrapped in the clothes he wear at the end of the saga, holding his gun and a tormented (at least, that's how I wanted his expression to looks like) on the face. Yes, I know - Tenma's looking quite pale, I'm sorry, but to tell the truth didn't saw his face colored in vivid color so...I'm quite nasty with that poor guy, really. Johann's pointing his forehead, asking Tenma to shoot him. His only eyes is colored with the very first promarker (for ice blue) and posca (for white reflects) I bought specially to achieve the fanart. The bloodsheads on the background are made with red colored ink - as I love to do it.
What else...? Hm, I didn't use a complete model to do it. Just some picture for the positions anyway. Tenma's inspired of a very famous fanart of Monster. But composition is all mine.
